Wood acoustic slat, WPC and bamboo charcoal panels are moisture-resistant but are not wet-area products — they belong on a bathroom feature wall away from direct spray, not inside the enclosure. No, and this is worth being precise about. Acoustic panels absorb sound inside a room, reducing echo and reverberation — that is what makes a hard-surfaced space feel loud and tiring. They do not stop sound travelling through a wall to the next room. Blocking sound transmission requires mass and isolation inside the wall assembly, which is a framing job, not a finish job.
